Who we are
Paulownia Italy is a company incorporated under Italian law, whose work team (partners, technicians, collaborators, laboratories, etc.) has been dedicated to the paulownia tree for over 10 years; the research, development, production and multiplication of plants takes place entirely and exclusively in Italy, and our material is accompanied by all the original certifications issued by the competent authorities.
During this long period, the main attention of our staff was first of all to identify and study the best varieties of paulownia on the market, and over the last few years we have focused on their genetic improvement in order to obtain new clones that guarantee the best results during the growth phase, and also high quality wood, to be proposed to various operators in the wood processing sector.
Although we are aware that we have already achieved important results to date, our research and development is undergoing constant updating, with the aim of continuing to genetic improvement of our plants, taking advantage of the continuous technical innovations currently offered by the sector.
However, Paulownia Italy's activity does not end in the production and sale of paulownia plants, but has the aim of developing its cultivation by inserting it in a circular production context, paying attention to aspects such as environmental protection, the preservation of natural forests, the reduction of CO2 emissions, the creation of a zero-kilometer green economy production chain.
Paulownia Italy is the only company that produces paulownia plants in vitro in Italy.
